Preconﬁguration Information

If your BT-946C PCI card is labeled Rev. A or B, it needs to be supported in ISA

emulation mode; use I/O address 0x334.

Note - To ﬁnd the revision level of a BusLogic PCI card, look at the card itself. The

revision of the card is not provided in the manufacturer’s documentation.

If your BT-946C is labeled Rev. C, it can be supported in native PCI mode. To do

this, select “Advanced option,” and choose “NO” for the “Host Adapter I/O Port

Address as default” option.

If your PCI card is model BT-956C or model BT-946C Rev. E, it can also be

supported in native PCI mode. To do this, disable the “Set ISA Compatible I/O

Port (PCI Only)” option.

Since your BusLogic board model ends in “C”, you must enter the AutoSCSI

conﬁguration utility and check the termination.

Supported Settings

• IRQ Level: 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 14, 15

• I/O Address: 0x334, 0x230, 0x234, 0x130, 0x134

Note - I/O addresses are dynamically conﬁgured for BT-946C Rev. C PCI adapters.
