Adaptec SCSI RAID Software Reference Guide
The default is FALSE; that is, the disk initialize
command does not initialize a disk that has open files on it.
WARNING: Unconditionally deleting an array that is in use
can cause a system crash under some circumstances.
Examples
The following example initializes a SCSI disk device (SCSI channel
number 0, SCSI device ID 2, and SCSI device logical unit number 0)
that has data on it:
AAC0>disk initialize /always (0,2,0)
Executing: disk initialize /always=TRUE (CHANNEL=0,ID=2,LUN=0)
